MATERIALS:

  • Black and green blankie yarn (Super bulky, weight 6)
  • Hook: 6 mm Hook
  • 23 mm amigurumi eyes
  • Stitch marker & scissors
  • yarn needle
  • Fibrefill

ABBREVIATIONS:

  • sc - single crochet
  • inc - increase
  • dec - decrease
  • FO - Fasten Off
  • st- stitch
  • dc- double crochet
  • hdc - half double crochet
  • sl st- slip stitch

PATTERN:

HEAD:

Start with Black Blankie yarn:

  • R1: 8 sc in mr [6]
  • R2: 8 inc [16]
  • R3: (1 sc, inc)*8 [24]
  • R4: (2 sc, inc)*8 [32]
  • R5: (3 sc, inc)*8 [40]
  • R6: (4 sc, inc)*8 [48]
  • R7-8 (2 rounds): 48 sc [48]
  • R9: (5 sc, inc)*8 [56]
  • R10-14 (5 rounds): 56 sc [56]
  • R15: (5 sc, dec)*8 [48]
  • R16: (4 sc, dec)*8 [40]
  • R17: (3 sc, dec)*8 [32]
  • Attach eyes between R10-11, 8 st apart and use green blankie yarn to make the eyelashes
    Adding eyelashes:
    Wrap the green yarn about the eye, about 2 st apart

HORNS (MAKE 2): 

  • ch 4
  • turn, in 2nd ch from hook: 1 sc, (hdc, dc, hdc in 1 st), 1 sc

WHISKERS (MAKE 4):

  • R1: 4 sc in mr [4]
  • R2: (1 sc, inc)*2 [6]

EARS (MAKE 2):

  • R1: 6 sc in mr [6]
  • R2: (2 sc, inc)* 2 [8]
  • R3: (1 sc, inc)*4 [12]
  • R4: (3 sc, inc)*3 [15]
  • R5-6 (2 rounds): 15 sc [15]



SEWING:


  • Horns:
Sew the horns at center of the mr and sew it till R3 (3 st wide)

  • Ears:
Sew the ears exactly beside the horns about 4 st wide - start from the space between R3-4 to R7-8.

  • Whiskers:
Sew 1 of the whiskers exactly beside the ear, starting from the space between R7-8 to R9-10 (2 st wide), then place the other whisker exactly beside the first whisker - 2 st wide, starting from the space between R9-10 to R11-12
