ASSEMBLY:

EYES

  • Cut Black Felt sheet in the shape shown here
  • Cut 2 such pieces
  • The maximum width of this piece is roughly 6 st about R8-9 of the head
  • The maximum height of this piece is 3 st (near the nose) and it is a lil bit wider than 2 st (opposite side)
    • Use 8 mm eyes and place them at the marked location on felt sheet:
    • These eyes must fit between R9-10 in the marked spots: (arrows denote how it felt sheet will align to accommodate eyes)
    • Place the 2 felt sheet pieces about R8-10.
    • Refer to the Diagram given below to understand the placement of the pieces:

EARS:

  • Sew ears across R3-5 ( 3 st wide).
  • Both Ears are 4 st apart.
  • Be careful when sewing. The front part of the ear must face forward to give a decent “border”-like effect to the ears.
  • Cut Conical pieces of black felt sheet and glue it to the ears

NOSE:

  • Sew the snout and mouth using embroidery thread.

SEWING HEAD TO BODY:

  • Using pins, align the center of the white part of the body to the center of the head. Then sew them together
  • Near the white part, sew with white yarn or you may pass the yarn through the back loops of the stitches to hide the grey yarn.

ARMS:

  • Sew arms about R7-9 (3 st wide)
  • Both arms should be 5 st apart ( with respect to the 9th Row of the body)

LEGS:

  • Sew legs about R4-6, just below the arms.
  • They should be roughly 3 st apart with respect to Row 5.
  • Legs should be slightly inwards compared to hands.

TAIL:

  • Sew around R4-6.
